| About Us |
|
We are a group of families who have suffered personal loss through culpable driving.
After you receive the horrendous news there are many questions that you ask and desperately need answers to. We discovered that there wasn’t anywhere to go to get the sort of help we needed. After being told this life changing news, we were supposed to just accept it.
We were told things like ‘these things happen’, ‘boys will be boys’, ‘poor driver, he didn’t mean it’ or ‘it was meant to be’.

| All totally unacceptable! |
The Major Collision Squad are a remarkable group of men and women who do all they can to help you, but there comes a time when they have to let you go and you them. They have many families in the same terrible state.
We felt there was a need for a venue where families and individuals could talk to other people who had been through the same tragedy. Many families affected by Culpable Driving are also at a loss as to why certain legal situations occur and we feel that there needs to be an organization that can present all these concerns to the government on behalf of families.
We believe there is a need for an organization – that isn’t a government department- where the public can report road safety concerns and know that they will be addressed.
With your help we can make a difference

| AIMS OF WACD-WORKING AGAINST CULPALE DRIVING |
|
WACD aims to offer support and advice to people affected by road trauma.
WACD aims to change the way the government and drivers view road trauma by making them aware of what really happens through the eyes of the public who have been personally affected by road trauma.
As a group we have never had a voice before. There are a lot of us out there.
We believe that laws that are actively enforced have the most positive effect on drivers. Only Encouraging drivers do the right thing cost lives.
We are not convinced that the current protracted process of administering the road laws is the most effective way to send the correct message to drivers.
WACD aims to change the way drivers who have endangered our lives are processed.
WACD believes that consequences for endangering road users lives should be immediate in all cases.
