FEDERATION SQUARE - crashed cars
Follow the links and take the pledge to drive safely. Neil Mitchell from 3aw
along with the Herald Sun are tryng to get people involved by displaying
crashed cars in Federation Square.
Anything that will save even one life is worth the time and effort.
But is it enough on the government s behalf?
Does it allow the Government to put all its eggs in one basket?
What is new about this approach is putting it in the middle of Federation Square.
Shock tactics are not new
Shock tactics are not working in this age group.
The deaths and injuries over the last eight years is proof of this fact.
but doing the same old same old is better than doing nothing.
Well done to the media who have made this happen , but please keep in
mind that it has only been promoted by the Government because this is the
path they want to continue to go down , regardless if it works or not.
We urge all drivers to take the pledge, because awareness of life in trouble
is what will make the difference.
That awareness has to be officially sent to all drivers, not just the ones who
happen to pass by federation square in the next few days.
