Fatality Free Friday 2008 has been hailed a success with fewer deaths on the roads on Friday, May 16 2008 than the statistical average.
Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania, the ACT and the Northern Territory were completely fatality free on the day.
“Unfortunately there were three road fatalities in Victoria and one in New South Wales,” said Russell White, founder of Fatality Free Friday.
