MEN OWN THE ROAD TOLL 

 IT IS TIME FOR MEN TO OWN THE ROAD

TOLL

and cut this rot out of their lives.

Grow up and stop risking lives. 

Grow up and stop passing your senseless macho mental attitude around. 

It is killing innocent members of the community.

Grow up and stop acting like spoilt little brats who are

astonished when they find themselves in court for killing. 

Grow up and accept that road laws are there for a reason.

Those in charge have to grow up too and stop protecting

each other. 

Have the guts to speak up and actually say enough is

enough, instead of being so understanding to other men.  

Men are causing these deaths.  Stop allowing it to keep

happening for fear of offending the blokey image you

crave.  

Few tragedies ‘just happen’

Condemn the behavior instead of expecting and

accepting it.  

Men are passing on stupid behavior because other men

allow them to do so.

Put a stop to the secret mens business that sees you all

laughing at each other for getting away with drink driving,

speeding, running red lights and racing trains. 

Can’t you see that you are copied by every young person

you come into touch with? 

It doesn’t have to be your own child; impressionable

teenagers watch and learn what adults do. 

Some drivers actually believe they drive better when they

are drunk and proudly brag about there drinking and

driving.

Some idiot men even encourage young people to drink

and drive and call them girls if they don’t. 

Now girls are taking offence to that and are starting to

figure prominently in the drink driving statistics.

With ‘idols’ like Paris Hilton leading the way it will be not

be long before daughters are being buried as frequently as

sons and fathers and husbands.

Up until recently it has been the men who have killed the

girls, now the girls are starting to be the killers on the road

as well.

We can’t let this get a hold.

Girls must also own the influence they have on men.

Don’t be attracted to road morons.

Tell them to come back when they are not a risk to your life.

Husbands, Fathers, Mothers, Grandparents, Son’s and

Daughters, all dead.

All dead because of someone else’s   Husband, Father or

Son 

Men have to break this cycle. 

This carnage has to stop

Some drivers cause their own deaths; some of them

cause innocent people to die.

Drivers behaving like insufferable fools, but so sure they

 are right.

Even though it is painful to admit that your Husband or

Father or Son is one of the men who behave in this way,

it is time it was said out loud. 

It may not have been the plan to die, or kill innocent

people, but the fact is they did, and because of what? 

It is a deadly senseless game to play

It’s time to stop accepting men who play this game.

Drivers do not have the right to risk all of our lives. 

Judges and Politicians have to be more candid and

acknowledge their own behavior before they can

successfully administer laws. 

They cannot expect others to listen when they keep

sending a double sided message. 

Don’t speed, don’t drink and drive, don’t behave

foolishly on the road, but if you do we understand

because we do it as well!

 But hush hush keep that a secret.  

Stand up and be counted and put an end to deaths on the
road.

Stop making excuses for drivers who make a choice

about what they do with their cars or trucks.

It is up to men who are doing the right thing to stop

accepting the ones who are not.

Don’t be afraid to preach what is right. 

Stop laughing at the stupid sportsmen who get caught

behaving badly.

You are not doing them any favors in the long run.

Stop making excuses for them. 

Stop telling them it is a ‘part of growing up’ and that ‘we

all did it’ 

Stop telling your stupid stories about how   

‘you shouldn’t be alive’ 

Stop putting yourself on a pedestal for behavior that was

capable of killing yourself and other innocent people. 

You are influencing the next generation of men. 

Stop back slapping each other for appalling behavior.

Stop teaching your sons to use their cars or fists as

weapons. 

Stop being proud of your sons for being reckless.

Sad thing is eventually most of the back slappers will get

old and will remember their dead mates fondly and be

oblivious to the fact they needn’t have died.

Many innocent people are dead today because of the

boys’ club attitude that exists.

Enough time has passed

Imagine if a company had a record that at least two or

three people a day died for the SAME reasons over a

period of 40 years.

The fatal five- Alcohol –Speed- Fatigue- Seat Belts and

Stupidity still figure in culpable crashes after forty years

The fatal five will continue to be a problem unless the

‘boys club’ mentality changes

Grow up-   Monkey see, Monkey do  

Men can own and fix this heartbreaking reality.

All these Hoons who are having their cars confiscated will

be the next generation passing on fateful tales if more

permanent methods are not taken now. 

As many truck drivers as car drivers sit around laughing

about all their close shaves on the road.  

There is only one thing they have in common.

Stop the stupidity now
